After giving local isp\’s a bouquet for making changes to their systems to fight spam, I read today that there has had to be an extension given for public comment due to only three submissions being made.
Now call me a pessimist, but the apathy shown here is primarily the reason spam exisits to the levels it does. When it comes down to it, people dont mind spam enough to do anything to prevent it. And if research is to believed 4% buy from spam and so actively encourage it.
Disappointing.
